The rundown
Suppressing fire, Leonida style. The Combat MG turns a firefight into a one-sided affair, a belt-fed answer for when the crew is badly outnumbered.
Light machine guns exist to put rounds downrange and keep heads down. Belt or drum fed, built around sustained fire rather than precision, they are the weapon that pins an enemy in place while everyone else moves. Heavy to carry, heavier to be on the wrong end of.
GTA has offered an MG-class weapon since the HD era, the bridge between an assault rifle and outright explosives. Confirmed in the official lineup, with stats, ammo capacity and handling all still unconfirmed. Point it at a doorway and nobody comes through.
