A step up from the micro, the Compact SMG balances fire rate with a little more control. Confirmed as part of the submachine gun spread for GTA 6.
Compact submachine guns are the sweet spot of the close-quarters class: short enough to handle in a car or a hallway, but with enough weight and barrel to stay on target longer than a pocket-sized machine pistol. Fast, manageable and easy to conceal.
The SMG class has been a GTA constant, and a mid-size option like this slots neatly between the Micro SMG and a full carbine. It turns up in official material, so it is confirmed, though the exact real-world basis, stats and any attachments aren’t pinned down yet. Small enough to swing around in a car, steady enough to actually aim.
