The basis is a standard combat knife, the fixed-blade fighting tool carried by soldiers and survivalists the world over. Nothing exotic, just steel that does its job up close, and quietly.

Blades have been part of GTA’s melee lineup for years, the option for getting in and out without a sound. Rockstar showed this one in official screenshots, so it is locked in. Whether it allows stealth takedowns, and what other melee weapons join it, are still unconfirmed. For now it is the kind of tool that turns up first and gets noticed last.
