The rundown
The handgun is the one weapon Rockstar has put front and center. Both trailers show Jason, Lucia and the crew pulling pistols across robberies, standoffs and quick getaways, so this is about as locked-in as GTA 6 hardware gets.
The silhouette reads as a Glock-style semi-auto: the Austrian, striker-fired, polymer-framed design that became the default sidearm for police forces around the world. Light, simple and reliable, with few moving parts to fail. It is the everyman pistol precisely because it just works.
Handguns have opened every GTA arsenal since the beginning, and this one looks set to do the same in Leonida: cheap, concealable and always within reach when a job goes sideways in Vice City. Exact stats and variants are still unknown, but with appearances in both trailers, the pistol itself is as confirmed as it gets.
