Borrowed from the nearest bar. The Pool Cue turns a barroom standoff into a quick one, an improvised melee option for Leonida’s dives and back rooms.
It was never meant to be a weapon, which is the whole point. A tapered length of hardwood with decent reach and enough rigidity to do real damage when swung with intent. The kind of thing that is just lying around when a night goes wrong.
Improvised melee weapons have always given GTA’s bars and clubs their edge, and the Pool Cue fits right in. Confirmed in official material, with damage and reach still unconfirmed. Not built for a fight, which is exactly why nobody sees it coming.
