Grassrivers is the swampy, untamed side of the state of Leonida: a sprawl of wetlands, mangroves and slow-moving waterways where alligators and other wildlife rule the backcountry.
It’s the polar opposite of Vice City’s neon, a humid wilderness that fans have widely identified as Leonida’s answer to the Florida Everglades. Expect airboats, hidden corners and the sense that nature, not people, is in charge out here.
Grassrivers was surfaced as part of the Leonida map in GTA 6 Trailer 2 in May 2025. Concrete details are still thin, and we’ll expand this entry as Rockstar shares more ahead of the November 19, 2026 launch.
