Story
Cal Hampton is one of Jason Duval’s closest friends and another associate of the old smuggler Brian Heder, placing him squarely inside Jason’s small inner circle in the Leonida Keys.
He’d rather stay in than go out. Cal spends his days at home, beer in hand, listening in on Coast Guard radio chatter and tumbling down internet rabbit holes, the kind of low-key paranoia that thrives when you’ve got nothing but time and a stack of private browser tabs. He’s perfectly comfortable lying low and off the grid.
That makes him an interesting foil for Jason, whose ambitions are starting to point toward something much bigger and riskier. How far Cal gets pulled out of his comfort zone is one of the things to watch.
Cal was introduced in GTA 6 Trailer 2 in May 2025. Details on how he factors into the wider story are still thin ahead of the November 19, 2026 launch.
