Story
Lucia Caminos is one of the two playable protagonists of Grand Theft Auto VI and the first female lead of the modern GTA era, sharing top billing with Jason Duval.
She learned to fight before she could barely walk, and life has been swinging at her ever since. Standing up for her family put her behind bars in the Leonida Penitentiary, and a stroke of luck got her back out. That experience left her done with half-baked dreams and focused on smart, deliberate moves.
What drives her is the good life her mother has chased since the family’s days in Liberty City. Rather than wait for it, Lucia plans to take it on her own terms, and a future with Jason looks like the fastest route there. Their partnership, equal parts romance and crime, is the engine of the game’s story.
Lucia headlined the first GTA 6 trailer in December 2023 and returned in Trailer 2 in May 2025. How far she’s willing to go remains one of the biggest questions heading into the November 19, 2026 release.
